Refund Policy

TalkFDA – Individual Events Refund & Cancellation Policy
This refund, cancellation, substitution, and rescheduling policy applies to individual / standalone events and services offered by TalkFDA.

Cancellation window

Refund eligibility is determined based on the scheduled date of the event at the time of registration.

Cancellations requested more than 72 hours before the scheduled event date are eligible for a refund, subject to an administrative fee.

Cancellations requested within 72 hours of the scheduled event date are not eligible for a refund.

If an event is rescheduled, the originally scheduled event date is used to determine refund eligibility. A reschedule does not reopen or reset the cancellation window.

Administrative fee

For eligible cancellations, an administrative fee of 20% of the amount paid is deducted from the refund.

The administrative fee is capped at a maximum of $500.

No administrative fee applies to substitutions.

Materials and access

Once any materials or access have been provided, the registration becomes non-refundable.

Materials may include items such as slide decks, handouts, checklists, templates, or supporting documents.

Access may include login credentials, platform access, or streaming or recording access provided instead of live attendance.

No-shows

If a registrant does not attend the event and does not submit a valid cancellation request within the allowed window, no refund will be issued.

In such cases, TalkFDA may offer access to a one-time recording of the event, if available.

Substitutions

Registrant substitutions are allowed up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time of the event.

Substitutions apply only to replacing the attendee and do not change the event or course purchased.

Substitutions are free of charge.

Basic details of the substitute attendee must be shared with TalkFDA via email, so that the Substitute Attendee could be manually enrolled.

Email delivery and access responsibility

Registrants are responsible for ensuring they can receive TalkFDA communications.


Issues related to spam filters, restricted inboxes, corporate firewalls, or incorrect email addresses are not grounds for a refund.
TalkFDA will provide reasonable assistance to resend or clarify access information when contacted.

As an alternative, TalkFDA recommends communicating using your TalkFDA account Inbox. On your Inbox page, click on "New Message". Select @Support Team as recipient to send messages directly.

Cancellation or rescheduling by TalkFDA

In rare circumstances, TalkFDA may cancel or reschedule an event due to low registrations, speaker unavailability, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Registrants will be notified via email as soon as reasonably possible
 
If an event is rescheduled and a new date is announced within 90 days of the original scheduled date, registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date and no refund will apply.

If the new date is not suitable, registrants may choose one of the following:
  • Access to a one-time recording of the event, if available (validity at TalkFDA’s discretion), or
  • A redeemable voucher valid for 365 days.

If no new date is announced within 90 days of the original scheduled date, a refund will be issued.

Permanent event cancellation

If an event is permanently cancelled and no rescheduled date will be offered, registrants may choose one of the following:
  • A full refund
  • A redeemable voucher
  • Access to a recording of the event, if available

Changes to event details

TalkFDA reserves the right to modify event topics, materials, or speakers/instructors without prior notice.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original method of payment wherever possible.

TalkFDA is not responsible for bank fees, currency conversion charges, payment gateway deductions, or delays outside TalkFDA’s control.

How to request a cancellation or refund

  • All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted via TalkFDA’s official support email (info@talkfda.com).
  • Registrants must include relevant registration details to allow the request to be reviewed.
